To realize the primary needs of the students and staff and secure civil liberties for everybody, a Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted at SNTI.Protection of human rights is essential for all round development of an individual’s personality.
The cell is intended to find solutions for grievances like physical or mental harassment, complaints regarding class room teaching, class room management, completion of syllabus, teaching methodology, infrastructure maintenance and upgradation, etc. if and when they arise. The Grievance Redressal Cell has been set up at SNTI to genuinely understand the grievances of students and parents and to ensure remedial action.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the Grievance Cell is to promote and maintain a conducive and harmonious educational environment among the students. The Students’ Grievance Cell is constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the students of the College. This is with the following objectives in mind
STUDENT REDRESSAL AND WELFARE CELL
Scient Institute of Technology is committed to provide a safe, fair and harmonious learning and working environment. The Student Grievance Redressal Cell has been reconstituted on 18-07-2014 to redress the grievances and complaints of the students. The cell facilitates the resolution of grievances in a fair and impartial manner involving the respective Department (dealing with the substantive function connected with the grievance), maintaining necessary confidentiality, as the case may be. Any stakeholder with a genuine grievance may approach Cell to submit his/her grievance in writing.
Functions of Cell
The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit.
The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment.
Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge Students’ Grievance Cell.
In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell.

WOMEN GRIEVANCE CELL
The Women Grievance Redressal cell was constituted on 14-06-2011.The Cell is responsible for looking into any complaints filed by students & staff about Women Grievances at the college. The functions of the cell are to purely safeguard the rights of female students, faculty and staff members of women and also to provide a platform for listening to complaints. The Cell also tries to incorporate hygiene habits and ensure a healthy atmosphere in and around the college. It tries to equip them with the knowledge of their legal rights and redressal of their grievances. To facilitate speedy delivery of justice, meetings are organized regularly. The counseling cell processes oral and written complaints. Time to time the cell conducts seminars and lectures by specialists and eminent personalities to stop violence against women, sexual harassment at work and about health, hygiene etc
In view of the increasing number of girl students in the campus, Women Grievance Redressal Cell at SNTI makes every effort to ensure that the girls feel at home.The cell resolves common problems of girl students and also takes up individual cases of sexual harassment, if any. Ragging in the hostels is totally disallowed, and any adventure in this respect is punishable.
